It’s interesting thinking back to the days where I was on my own, taking the leap of faith into this ‘talent’ of mine, looking forward into the future wondering what God had in store for my life… All in great belief that it was something amazing, and that I was also incredibly undeserving of whatever it was, but also knowing that THAT is exactly Gods heart for each of us… Unconditional love, good plans, ingrained calling, talent, and purpose, and “gifts” along the way, for those who follow Him, and even for those who don’t.

Years ago, I stepped into this new business of mine that started just with an idea that God planted in my heart, and a bit of a “fed up” feeling of myself, who I was at the time, my choices, and yearning for something Greater. I stepped out into a place of complete uncertainty, fear, doubt, and yet, FAITH. I didn’t believe in me as much as I just believed in God and His goodness. Think about it… considering the current standings of my life at that time, I was a BAD Investment of Gods time, effort, or heart, in my mind. But man, God is so good… Today I look back and see all the amazing things he has done, His belief and faith in me, the many many opportunities he has dropped in my path and entrusted to me, and the ways in which He has intervened in my life. His hands all over it the whole time. If you look even further back at my past, my trauma, my choices, my tainted interests, my poor relationships, you might think, “What is She going to do for God? She’s a train wreck…” Why Yes!! That too! That’s the beautiful part about who God is… He sees us inside and out, and boy does He love a good salvation story! He LOVES His kids, and built each and every one of us for Greatness, in so many different ways!! He knows what he created each of us for, and what we will do in our lives, our wins and losses, our ups and downs, our good and poor choices, and He NEVER gives up on us. Like a father, he roots us on the whole way, and plants seeds the entire way for us to find and keep moving through His plan for us! With us being practically in the dark the entire way except for “the lamp at our feet” seeing only the next best step… that’s why it’s all about FAITH, and being Faithful of His goodness, and His specifically chosen, expertly crafted, and unique plans for each of us!

Those seeds in my life have now become a pretty darn successful, functioning, amazing, (Don’t forget Challenging), but fun and blooming business where I’ve gotten to step into peoples greatest asset, make a difference, create things to be more beautiful, and help people make their houses into Homes, in greater and greater ways each year! The coolest part being that God knows every day of our lives before we are even born, and knows exactly what He has planned for us, and just asks us to step into it in faith! I think back and wonder where I would be or what I would be doing had I not entrusted God with my life… and don’t get me wrong, I’ve done a very ‘human’ version, messy, inconsistent job of following Him in all I do, and yet He is there, blessing me and entrusting more and more to me along the way! Planting seeds and trusting me water them.

You may ask, “Why this sappy post with a picture of a car? If you’re so “Godly”, isn’t this considered materialism?” That’s where I think people underestimate the “fatherly nature” of Gods heart for His kids. God knows the desires of our hearts, and crafted every fiber of our being, and stitched us together! God knows EXACTLY how we tick, what we love, and what gets us fired up! Cars, being one of them for me! I sure do enjoy a well done interior and exterior (obviously, ha!), and something that creates an atmosphere! This particular car being the one that “took the cake” for me for years and years! Make fun of me if you want but I’ve looked at it 100 times online, built it online over and over just to get it exactly how I’d want it… for fun, priced it out many many times, test driven it more than 5…. (The dealership just about started to stop taking me seriously 😛)… And here we are, January of 2025, and it was just that time. Yesterday, I went and picked her up! QUITE the story of how this all came to be, and that it was such a God thing or it never would have happened, but I can’t explain how giddy I am about it!

What I want to say along with that is, sure I love this car (think I’ve made that pretty clear)! Sure it’s something that makes me happy! You’re a complete liar if you say earthly possessions can’t bring SOME level of happiness ☺️ BUT the most important message in this whole thing is, “Don’t give up”. You can never achieve or receive the blessings God has for your life if you let your humanness talk you out of what God built you to do or created you for. One step at a time, you were built for GREATNESS. And sometimes that means turning your back entirely on all your “worldly reasoning” for why you can’t step out in faith and receive the gifts and plans that God has for your life… and the milestones, emotional or material, along the way… And BE BLESSED. Recieve! And keep moving forward, and honor to His name along the way, never allowing people to believe that it was You who did it. We are only here because God wakes us up every day! Give it all to Him!

So Jesus, this is me here saying THANK YOU for the gift of momentum in my life and my business, and for the air in my lungs and strength in my legs to go out into this world of yours and build your kingdom, one day at a time! Thank you for my skills and talents and for the way you built me! Thank you for the gifts along the way that typically shock me, and make me look back at where I started in disbelief of how far I’ve come, and then look forward to where I’m going! I give it all to you, Jesus!
